Brian Seth Hurst is regarded internationally as an expert on the strategy, construction, business modeling and maintenance of storyworlds for storytellers, franchises, technology companies and brands and the evolving conversation/collaboration between the storyteller and the audience. Highly committed to the informed collaboration between storytellers and technologists he is regarded as a subject matter expert in the burgeoning field of Virtual Reality.
Brian has been key strategist for innovation by some of the world’s best-known brands including TVGuide, Showtime, TiVo, Virgin America, BT, NBCUniversal, Endemol, SVT(Sweden) and Intel. Hurst is currently an executive producer on Tim Kring’s award winning multiplatform property “Conspiracy for Good” for which he created the terms “Social Benefit Storytelling” and “Social Benefit Marketing” to describe this new entertainment genre and the project’s impact. He is also creator and executive producer of “DetermiNATION2016,” a new project from Bunim/Murray.
Hurst is also the author of the best selling children’s book “A Pig Tale” written with Olivia-Newton John and “WHOLE” a collection of essays on life’s challenges.
