Senior Studio Artist

Summary:

Works with Account Managers, Designers, Art Directors and Creative Directors building production-ready files from approved layouts. Must be comfortable building presentations and pitch-decks in both printed and digital form. Ideal candidate is energetic, friendly and fun.

Responsibilities:

• Assists Designers, Art Directors and Creative Directors with design development of layout files
• Builds production-ready mechanicals from layout files
• Assists with asset management and naming conventions
• Generates contact sheets/select books of photoshoots
• Retouching of FPO images
• Prints, trims and mounts comps and books for presentation
• Reviews all workflow/project paperwork and follows direction with accuracy
• Multitasks assignments and prioritizes work effectively
• Maintains an organized, clean, and efficient studio space
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance at all job functions
• Troubleshoots Xerox printers and assists Creative team with printing special projects

Qualifications:

• Expert in Adobe CS 2018: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat — any other CS programs are a plus
• Good working knowledge of Keynote, Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint — Sketch andUniversal Type Client area plus
• Strong knowledge of print advertising from layout through production
• Excellent technical skill in building accurate, production-ready files for Print, Mobile, Web, OOH, In-Store and Content spaces
• Strong presentation designer
• Skill in hand comping, book-binding and adhesive-backed mounting
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects, follow direction from creative teams, meet deadlines and final deliverables
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and courteous working relationships with coworkers
• Agency experience preferred; 5 years minimum of related work experience required
