Video Editor / Video Colorist / Videographer

As a Video Editor/ Video Colorist / Videographer you will

  • Perform editing, color correcting, color grading, motion graphics, and other functions of post-production
  • Shoot and edit social media and other online videos to specifications, as assigned
  • Assist in transport, set up, and operation of various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production
  • Assist the Producer and Director as needed on set and in the field
  • Operate and maintain proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment
  • Manage logs
  • Sort and archive footage as well as maintain a digital video media library
  • Work a varied schedule consisting of day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday hours
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualified Candidates will

  • Have 2+ years of experience as a Video Editor / Colorist
  • Possess technical knowledge of video and studio equipment
  • Have knowledge and experience with video editing software such as FCP, Adobe Premiere, and other CC applications
  • Have extensive knowledge of DaVinci Resolve and Color correcting software
  • Possess knowledge of DSLR cameras and RED experience
  • Show competency with basic audio/microphones and lighting principles
  • Have the ability to handle, lift and store various equipment used in the Video department
  • Be highly organized and able to multitask
  • Possess the ability to take creative direction both independently or as a team member
  • Be able to troubleshoot, and be able to work unsupervised.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Be an excellent performer; deliver high quality results consistently
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Be eligible for employment in the United States
