Video Operations Coordinator (part time) in NEW YORK, New York
We are looking for a part-time operations coordinator to support its growing video and audio team.
As operations coordinator you will work with producers and managers in sourcing and onboarding of freelancers, tracking budgets and coding invoices. Top candidates for this position will have a professional background working in a fast-paced newsroom and be passionate about helping our team produce compelling video and audio journalism. A track record of being detail oriented with a positive attitude under tight news and administrative deadline pressure are essential for this role.
You will be expected to be self-sufficient, decisive and to clearly communicate with team members. You will also regularly collaborate with video and audio producers of all ranks to execute and consistently meet the highest production standards.
The position is based in our New York City office and reports to the Director of Operations.
