Job Purpose
The New York Stock Exchange is looking for a motivated, fast-paced, deadline driven storyteller who is a video producer, writer, and editor of premium business news segments. This role reports to the Director of Programming and Production/Executive Producer at Intercontinental Exchange/NYSE.

The Broadcast and Communications team is dedicated to telling innovative stories, highlighting world-class business events, sharing key news headlines, and presenting interviews with change-makers, executives, and thought leaders in the private and public sector. We aim to harness and share with the world, the infectious energy of the NYSE, the center of the financial universe with live-streaming broadcasts and diverse content across a multitude of platforms.

The ideal candidate has a go-getter attitude while using both the left and right sides of the brain. This producer should be organized, technically skilled and creative. The Video Producer can quickly assimilate news stories into segments and packages for daily live broadcasts. The role will also include content creation of short and long form projects. The Video Producer will be deeply involved in the daily needs of live production.

Responsibilities
Write, edit, produce video content for shows and social platforms on deadline
Enterprise business segments, write compelling and accurate copy that continues to update until airtime.
Book guests and conduct interviews
Work closely with show producers and on-air talent to gather assets and unify editorial direction
Pitch and execute on editorial stories and on-camera segments.

Knowledge and Experience
2+ years of video producer/live segment producer experience at a robust news outlet or comparable content organization where detail, accuracy, creativity, deadlines, and audience metrics matter.
Skilled Adobe Premier Editor who has the same regard for cutting a short soundbite as well as a long-form documentary. After Effects animation, graphics and interstitial creation a major plus. Ability to work with custom mogarts, subtitles and banners very important.
Be a scrappy self-starter who is curious and creative. Work well independently and across teams.
Be able to provide clips, reels and examples of published video work.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or comparable experience as a video producer and content creator
