Video Factory For Kids a private after-school program in Albuquerque, based on local video production company established in 1997,is looking for energetic people to teach Filmmaking and Animation After School Program for upcoming school year 2018-19.
Group sizes of 8-15 children, ages between 8 and 14. Working on small projects i.e. film making, music videos, stop motion animation. You may also be required to deal with video production equipment: medium size cameras, studio lights, and microphones with the assistance of a professional technician.
If you love photography and/or videography, and feel you can make it fun teaching kids of correspondent ages, then you have probably found the perfect job (the only drawback: it is part-time). Currently Video Factory For Kids is looking for instructors who are willing to teach between 1 and 5 two-hours classes per week.

Responsibilities:
Facilitate group activities for children according to provided program, schedule and lesson plan.
Coordinate activity within groups of children based on the provided program, materials and equipment. Mediate any conflicts that may arise between students.
Enforce the rules and safety regulations with equipment.
Report any notable concerns or incidents to the owner.

Experience:
- Educational experience is a plus with a focus on Photo or Video production or media communication.
- Experience with elementary/middle school aged children, bachelor’s degree in related field are preferred.
- Basic knowledge on Photo and Video Equipment is required.
Dates:
- September 17 through May 17 (or last day of school).
- Hours: Monday – Friday; 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Additional hours available at various times throughout the school year.
Compensation:
- $30-$35/hour Based on experience and credentials
- Job Type: Part-time
Hours: 1-5 two-hour classes per week (4-6pm)
