Assistant Traffic Manager

General Job Description:

Weigel Broadcasting has an opening for an Assistant Traffic Manager. If you have WideOrbit, traffic and sales support experience – this is the perfect opportunity for you! This is a hybrid work-from-home role.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Ensuring accurate logs, inventory, programming, processing orders

Administer staff training and coverage.

Work closely with station sales management, Account Executives, Promotions, and Traffic Manager to provide effective continuity scheduling.

Perform continuity duties partnering closely with agencies and digital spot delivery providers.

Assist Traffic Manager with various duties i.e. Workflow efficiency, scheduling, etc.

Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for the job, if not currently employed by Weigel Broadcasting Co.

Previous work experience at a television station group preferred.

Previous experience with WideOrbit a plus.

Good communications skills.

Ability to work in a group environment and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations.

Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work closely with other departments and outside agencies with a positive attitude is a must.

Previous manager/supervisor experience a plus.
