DIGITAL CONTENT NEWS PRODUCER

We are currently accepting resumes for a digital content producer to manage and create content for our website, mobile and social media platforms.

Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

— Excellent news judgment on what content a digital audience is looking for
— Write clean copy in AP style
— Can edit the work of others and clean up scripts
— Basic reporting skills
— Understanding of Social Media
— Basic computer skills
— Willingness to adapt and change as technology and procedures arise

Qualifications/Requirements:

— Must be a strong writer and copy editor with excellent editorial judgment, time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize quickly
— Must have basic working knowledge of content management systems. Experience with writing in digital and AP style is preferred
— Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as ability to quickly learn software applications used in the newsroom
— Knowledge of entry level video editing software a plus
