Digital Media Manager

The digital media manager will be responsible for both management of digital media projects and some day-to-day production work required for those projects. This person will be assigned several client accounts with varying needs in the digital arena, including web development, video production, graphic design, social media, marketing, and more.

General Skills:

– Timely and professional communication with clients

– Self-manage production schedules to make sure tasks and projects are completed on time

– Effectively communicate with freelancers to facilitate project requirements

– Positive attitude, willingness to learn, troubleshoot, and know when to ask for help

– Eye for design and attention to detail when producing and reviewing work

– Very strong copywriting/editing skills

Experience:

– Project management – has worked with/for creative/marketing/communications agency or similar freelance experience

– Social media management (FB, Twitter, Instagram, etc. plus knowledge of SM management platforms such as sprout social or similar)

– WordPress CMS – able to perform “front end” content updates

– Email marketing (Constant Contact, Mail Chimp or similar platform)

– Entry-to-intermediate use of Photoshop/Illustrator for basic design tasks

Education:

– 2+ years education with design/marketing/creative focus

Huge Plus:

– Additional marketing experience (PPC, SEO)

– Advanced graphic design experience

– Interest in video/interactive

Details:

– Pay BOE/Skillset

– Ability to work remote or meet at our Hartford office on occasion

– Hours may range from 8-20+ per week depending

– Schedule is usually pretty flexible and depends on client need

– Must have some availability during regular business hours for client calls/email/meetings
