About the Job

We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail and loves creating cinematic films. Especially adventure mystery type films with a paranormal and bizarre twist.

Ideally we would love to find someone who has a knack for Indiana Jones type mysteries and who is willing to do research on topics that may be considered fringe theories.

We create short cinematic films, commercial and social media spots for brands, and documentary films.

Knowing how to shoot steady, use equipment like jibs, dollies, gimbals, drones and lighting equipment to film sets indoors and outdoors is crucial for this job. You would be expected to setup all the shots, block the set, prepare the camera movements ahead of time, direct talent, and direct crew.

We use Canon cameras to shoot mostly and Adobe Premiere to edit – so expertise in these brands is a MUST!

This is not a beginner position, so we expect you to be super experienced with shooting and editing.

This is a freelance position – however we would ideal like to add someone on our team full time.

Daily Tasks would include:

• creating storyboards for scripts
• creating shot lists to plan all camera movements
• setting up lights for indoor and outdoor
• setting up audio equipment
• setting up camera equipment like jibs, sliders, gimbals, dollies, etc.
• editing videos using Adobe Premiere, Audition, and After Effects
• editing still photos using Light Room, Photoshop, and Indesign

Skills and equipment that would be REQUIRED:

• Adobe Creative Suite
• owns Apple devices for streamlined compatibility with team
• savvy with social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Youtube, and more.

This is a paid hourly position.

Must be able to commute to Home-Office in Boulder.
