UNLV’s newest project, Hospitality Hall, is a state of the art facility that showcases convertible interactive classrooms, a PGA Golf Management learning center, amazing architectural design, and instructional kitchen.
Now, at #InfoComm18 (if you reserved your spot for Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 1:00PM – 4:00PM) you will experience a state of the art building that is the best of academic program meets physical space meets AV Technology. The William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration began in 1967 and now 50 years later the College of Hospitality will instruct over 2,300 students and give them a taste of the real world and beyond. Get this, the instructional kitchen has combination convection ovens that have built in USB ports, designed for students! Now students can bring in their own recipes via USB and can insert them into the convention ovens.
The 93,000sqft Hospitality Hall took two years to construct at $60 million, where half was paid by the state and half donated this impressive list: Caesars, MGM Resorts, Sands, Konomi, Boyd, Red Rock, Marriott and the Engelstad family, donated $2.5 million each. Longtime gaming executive Don Snyder was among those who donated $1 million. Hospitality Hall is packed with smart kitchens and interactive classrooms galore all AV driven. Also, for those students entering golf business there is a full swing simulator and outdoor putting green.
