IOGEAR, a manufacturer of innovative information technology products for consumers and small- to medium-sized businesses, is showcasing its newest A/V solutions for homes and businesses at CEDIA Expo (booth 5953) taking place Sept. 4-8, 2018 at the San Diego Convention Center. The new IOGEAR A/V solutions make it easy and convenient for users to transmit and distribute 4K HDMI video signals providing versatility and cost savings to greatly simplify complex video distribution requirements.
Transmit 4K Video Wirelessly Over Long Distances
The GWLR4K60KIT Wireless Long Range HDMI 4K @ 60Hz Kit (GWLR4K60KIT) enables the transmission of HDMI 2.0-quality video over distances up to 656 feet using a dedicated 802.11ac wireless connection, eliminating the labor and expense of running cables between source equipment and HDTV displays. The GWLR4K60KIT, which was named a CES 2018 Innovations Award Honoree, is a true DIY product that features Plug-n-Play set up between the transmitter and receiver, and wraps up the IR signals so the user can control the source device from the remote receiver.
Connect Multiple True 4K Video Sources to a Single HDMI Display
The True 4K 8-Port Switcher with HDMI Connection (GHSW8481) and True 4K 4-Port Switcher with HDMI Connection (GHSW8441) enable users to connect up to eight or four (respectively) HDMI video sources, such as computers, Blu-ray or media players, and cable or satellite receivers, to a single HDMI display. Users can send crystal clear, Cinema 4K video reaching true 4K resolutions of 4096 x 2160 @ 60Hz with 4:4:4 Chroma subsampling, High Dynamic Range (HDR) and uncompressed audio for a wide variety of uses including home theater, in lobbies and conference rooms, and for digital signage. Users can quickly switch between video sources via push-button, IR remote or RS-232 serial control.
Connect Multiple HDMI Displays to a Single Video Source
The new 4-Port Cinema 4K Splitter with HDMI Connectors (GHSP8424B) and 2-Port Cinema 4K Splitter with HDMI Connectors (GHSP8422B) enable users to send Cinema 4K audio and video from a single HDMI source to four or two (respectively) 4K displays or projectors at distances up to 49 feet. Ideal for hospitality environments, the 4K splitters deliver resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 @ 60Hz, enabling users to enjoy crisp 3D and deep color images up to 4K 12-bit (4:2:0) for a remarkable visual experience.
Extend Cinema 4K Range Using Ethernet Cables
The TAA-compliant, Cinema 4K DisplayPort HDBaseT-Lite Extender (GVE440) and Cinema 4K HDBaseT-Lite Extender with HDMI Connection and POH (GVE340) allow users to extend a DisplayPort connection at Cinema 4K resolutions up to 130 feet from the source and 1080p resolutions up to 229 feet away over Cat 5e/6/6a cables. The TAA-compliant GVE340, which also features Power-over-HDBaseT, extends an HDMI connection at Cinema 4K resolutions up to 130 feet and up to 229 feet for 1080p resolutions using Cat5e/6/6a cables. Up to three extenders can be daisy chained to extend the range of HD transmission up to 669 feet (GVE340) or 688 feet (GVE440).
