Penguin Random House is seeking a Production Assistant to play a vital role in the process of book production. The Assistant will support two VP, Directors of Production and work with titles from numerous imprints of Penguin Publishing Group. In addition to verifying files for titles, this person will also provide administrative support to the production teams.
Specifically, the Production Assistant will:
Requirements:
- 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience
- Interest in book production or book publishing
- Must be detail-oriented and extremely well-organized
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills (written and verbal)
- Mac proficiency is required
- Familiarity with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat a plus
