About the Job

We are seeking Professional Intermittent Sound and Video Operators who are available days, evenings, holidays and/or weekends. Work opportunities are directly related to Seattle Center event schedules and hours of work will vary. This is on-call work with no guaranteed minimum number of hours.

Job Responsibilities
Set up and operate both permanently installed and portable sound reinforcement and recording systems; video, broadcast and recording camera operation, video projection, communication and ancillary electronic systems for a variety of events and performances including performing arts, concerts, corporate, and community events.
Set up and operate presentation software such as PowerPoint and KeyNote.
Design, fabricate, and install new systems and equipment.
Consult with clients, performers, musicians, and stage managers regarding sound and video requirements. Communicate directly with performers, clients, and Seattle Center staff.
Select proper microphones, speakers, mixing and amplifying equipment; mix and adjust sound reinforcement equipment during events.
Work collaboratively with members of the production team, event personnel, artists, and presenters.
