New Grad or a Junior or Senior in College? Are Looking to get your career started in Video Production and Video marketing? Alkaye Media in Westmont has a great entry-level position for a person to work part-time in our studio and on location.Your work will include doing clerical duties (70%) as well video production (shooting and editing) – (30%) and assisting on jobs (days plus some nights and weekends).
In addition, if you have interest and skills in on-line marketing (social media and video marketing), you can do that as well. This is a GREAT opportunity for the right person as we wish to make you a vital part of our company. We only hire winners! You must be an outgoing people person with above average organization skills and MS office yet be creative and hard working.

Duties and Requirements
- Working in our office, doing all kinds of things –so you need to be well organized, great attention to detail and know a PC (not MAC, tablet or phone)
- Good skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) on PC
- Video Camera (full-size HD) and DSLR camera
- Video Editing on a PC –we use Vegas and Premier (no MACs in house)
- General office duties (video packaging, minor bookkeeping, cleaning, preparing documents, client correspondence)
- Ability and desire to work with clients via phone or in person (no text or chat)
If you have writing, graphic, social media marketing and web (WordPress Admin) skills….great!
Bring your ‘A’ game and a lot of energy as you can get as much out of this position as you put it in. We set no limits on your opportunities. In the beginning, you must be available 3 days per week for approx 4-hour shifts and perhaps weekends.We’ll be honest. This job is NOT for everyone.
We’re a small 39 year veteran in video production and internet marketing with very high standards. This could lead to long-term employment.This is a public contact position so good grooming and personality is critical. Our dress code is business casual, so you must be comfortable that way. Professional attitude, which can be supported with references from a previous employer are required. A car will help (you may do some traveling) as well as being close to our Westmont area location

Compensation — starting pay is shown, but we do merit increases
Office and Assisting $10.50 /hr
Production (editors are flat rate based on projects and/or hourly)–up to $15 hr.
Camera crew is paid a minimum of $15/hr using our gear
