Podcast Audio Production Intern

Washington, DC-based cocktail & lifestyle startup Modern Bar Cart is seeking an Audio Production intern for the Fall of 2017.

Modern Bar Cart not only produces and sells cocktail consumables and hardware, but also educates consumers everywhere about how to enhance their lives with excellent flavors and experiences.

One of the ways that Modern Bar Cart reaches consumers is through the Modern Bar Cart Podcast, a weekly podcast dedicated to the art and science of home bartending.

The Audio Production Intern’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Planning and scheduling Interviews with home bartending experts and industry pros
• Managing show notes and integrating with company social media initiatives
• Working to enhance audio recording and editing quality for the podcast
• Spearheading a marketing/advertising campaign with direct guidance from the CEO

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, superior technological fluency, the desire to make a lasting impact on a growing brand, and a passion for flavor.

Requirements:

• Must be willing/able to commute to Washington, D.C. at least one (1) day per week.
• Must be willing to attend two (2) evening or weekend events per month
• Must have prior audio editing experience.
• Photo and/or video editing skills a plus
