Gallery Gift Shop Manager

What we’re looking for:

Our ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor and an interest in art and artful merchandise. They will be a trend setter who has an eye for detail and is knowledgable about consumer trends. This position is permanently part time position.

Qualifications:

>Experience in the design or retail industry preferred

>A tastemaker who has a passion for art, jewelry, home goods, and unique gift items

>2 years sales experience preferred

>The ability to meet and exceed sales goals

>An entrepreneurial spirit

>The ability to navigate and operate Gmail, Excel, Facebook, Instagram, and Photoshop

>The ability to balance customer service while multi-tasking

A Day in the Life:

As a Gallery Shop Manager with Women & Their Work, you will exceed the customer’s expectations in helping them find everything they need in the Gallery & Gallery Shop.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

>Ensure the highest level of customer care, in line with Women & Their Work’s expectations

>Build genuine relationships with customers

>Coordinate sales and promotions for Gallery Shop

>Help to maintain organization, cleanliness, and restock shop

>Run reports for monthly accounting practices

>Must be flexible and willing to work occasional after hours for openings and other programs when needed

HOURS

15 Hours Per Week. Gallery Manager hours are 12pm-3pm Wednesday through Friday and 12pm-6pm on Saturdays. Occasional evening hours available during events.
