Created by Steve Bellamy, President at Kodak and founder of The Tennis Channel, The Surf Channel and The Ski Channel are leading action sports content providers on YouTube that produces original content around all things surf and ski. With over 15 million views, 50k subscribers, and 360k Facebook followers, we are rapidly growing and adding to our team a talented Videographer/Editor who will bring creativity and amazing interpersonal skills to work every day.

The ideal candidate is skilled in all areas of production, and is as comfortable behind the camera as he is behind an editing bay.

• Strong understanding of the surf and ski world, and have experience in these sports
• Know the ins and outs of production and post production
• Understanding of modern visual trends
• Ability to bring creative ideas to the table
• Comfortable working in collaborative and individual environments

Responsibilities and Duties

The Videographer/Editor will provide support on all our upcoming shoots and projects. Duties will include editing current and future projects, making graphics and titles, shooting on location, including production spaces and where the action happens (beaches, mountains, etc.)

Qualifications and Skills

Requirements

• Available 8 hours a day, 5 days a week at our office in Santa Monica, CA
• Have 2-3 years experience with videography AND video editing, action sports experience a plus
• Must be strong with the Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects & Photoshop)
• Ability to create content on a deadline
• Be a team player and contribute to other needs of the company (creating designs, setting up shoots, etc.)

Even better if

• You have your own camera equipment that you are comfortable shooting on.
• Have a lens with a length of 300mm or higher.
• Have motion graphics, design, and Red camera experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $150.00 to $200.00 /day
