FALL 2018 Internship – Design/Studio

GSD&M is searching for students seeking to gain hands-on experience in project-based internships to further develop their knowledge of the advertising industry.

GSD&M intern candidates MUST be enrolled as a Junior, Senior or Graduate level student at their college or university and MUST be enrolled in an art/design sequence or program. We are also accepting new college graduate applications for this position.

Details:: GSD&M Design/Studio interns will provide support to design/studio departments by helping concept, design and assist on various client and agency-related projects. Duties also include: scanning images, creating comps, mounting and trimming work for presentations, ordering supplies and creating/modifying agency collateral.

Interns receive the opportunity to develop their final portfolio with the guidance, creative review and feedback from industry experts within the design/studio group.

Hard skills ::
Thorough knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite–InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and Microsoft Office Suite.

Soft skills ::
Strong work ethic and the willingness to learn.

Desire to produce excellent design/illustration/layouts based on great ideas.

Excellent listening skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Able to work independently and as a team member.
