About the Job

We are seeking a News Producer who will produce news segments and programs, stories, special projects, and internet and social media content.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

•Excellent, network-level writing and producing skills for broadcast, web and social media
•Working knowledge of national and international news issues
•Working knowledge of network news production and post-production
•Knowledge of digital media production and internet content creation
•Excellent writing, editing and communication skills for broadcast and Internet
•Strong ability to show and tell compelling news stories with strong visual elements
•Proficient in MS Office, Internet, Social Media and video editing software
•Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with the public and co-workers in a positive professional manner
•Flexible with ability to work well in high stress changing news environment and consistently meet deadlines
•Strong time management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
•Ability to travel as assigned
•Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or related field
