MULTI-MEDIA PRODUCTION MANAGER

SUMMARY:
The Multi-Media Production Manager position is critical to the successful execution of projects. This position provides project-related support, and the PM is intimately involved on project creative teams. In addition, the PM is integral to smooth running operations and business management, providing leadership on internal production/traffic processes and workflow. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of media production for the corporate communications sector, be extremely detailed oriented and proactive, and be savvy with production budgets.

DESCRIPTION: Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Support on productions
• Familiarity with roster and details of current projects
• Production research
• Crew research, scheduling, booking
• Shoot logistics
• Creation of production books and wrap books
• Act as project owner on small jobs

Support on design/communications projects
• Create project schedules
• Track resources allocated to project (designers, writers, etc.)
• Monitor timeline to assure schedule for delivery is on-track
• Reconcile estimates to actuals

Vendor Resources
• Maintain vendor resource list; update as needed

Production Finance
• Issue vendor POs
• Review and sign-off of vendor invoices
• Track budget actuals for projects

General Production Operations
• Track media drives and elements tracking
• Drive inventory and reconciliation
• Stock music use reporting
• Search for stock footage / stock music

Job Close-Out
• Review project close-out with producers/project owners
• Tracking list of incomplete / missing elements
• Collection of final MVG deliverables

File Creation
• General knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Media Encoder and QuickTime 7
• Create files in all formats and resolution
• Creating Amazon S3 and other streaming links

Project Workflow Software
• In-house co-owner of project management platform
• Update projects in platform
• Update clients in CRM

Marketing Support
• Uploading videos to Vimeo
• Support for social media
• Support customer prospect marketing initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
College Degree or Equivalent; Demonstrated production background and experience – minimum of three (3) years in similar position
