Producer (Streaming/OTT)

We are hiring a Producer (Streaming/OTT) at our affiliate in West Palm beach, FL. This individual will create, lead and organize content for streaming and linear platforms utilizing strong editorial, journalistic, organizational and communication skills.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Develops and organizes newscasts or local programs; responsible for writing, story development and showcasing.
Collaborates with reporters, anchors, news managers and assignment editors to determine content needs.
Enhances the content with graphics, video, research, and station branding.
Executes time sensitive decisions.
Responsible for oversight of live, taped, streaming, and broadcast, as well as up to the minute editorial decisions.
Performs desktop editing.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Coordinate with editorial and technical staff to facilitate the migration of multimedia content to new media platforms, including video, audio, still photos and graphics.
Produces digital video when assigned.
Coordinate with editorial and technical staff to facilitate the migration of multimedia content to new media platforms, including video, audio, still photos and graphics.
In the event of a hurricane in the area, stay on-site at the station to support the news organization.
