We are seeking an experienced Production Editor to oversee all stages of book production from manuscript to final files. We also seek a Production Assistant with excellent proofreading skills.
*At least 2 years production editorial experience.
* Must be highly organized, detailed oriented, and have a solid command of English language and grammar. Profiency in reviewing tracked changes in MS work and marking proofs is required.
* Ability to work effectively with a varied client base with different house rules and style requirements.
* Must be detail oriented, able to prioritize work to meet schedules, and able to maintain very accurate records on multiple projects at once.
* Ability to communicate effectively with authors, clients, and inhouse staff and to accurately carry out instructions.
