Position: Senior Systems Software Engineer – Video

We are now looking for a Senior System Software Engineer – Video.
NVIDIA is a pioneer and world leader in visual computing. The video software team is looking for highly motivated system software engineers who are passionate about video. As part of our team you will be working on core technology that is used in video streaming and playback, Hyperscale transcode, video inference, and many other cutting edge technologies that are transforming our industry.
What you will be doing:
- As part of our team you will be working on development and optimizations for high speed cloud transcode, ultra-low latency game streaming, live game broadcasting, and many other cutting edge technologies that are transforming our industry.
What we need to see:
Proficiency in C/C++, strong system software development, optimization, and debugging skills.
Proactive and self-motivated with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (MS degree preferred) or relevant industry experience.
5+ years of relevant software development or research experience. (Exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered.)
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience with Windows or Linux driver development is a strong plus
Knowledge of operating system internals and device driver models (WDDM)
Video processing techniques, color spaces, video codecs (H.264, HEVC, VP9, etc.)
Experience with Microsoft MFT, DirectShow, DirectX, DXVA
