Entry Level Graphic Design / Photoshop Retoucher Wanted

Busy advertising agency has an immediate need for graphic/photoshop artists to create marketing deliverables for online distribution

We are now interviewing and seeking a half a dozen video editors for Graphic Design/Photo Retouchers

Position is part time with opportunity for full time work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs digital image retouching by following a prescribed methodology, using layers, masking, stamps (e.g., clone), brushes (e.g., healing), etc. In both Adobe Lightroom & Adobe Photoshop.
• Color balance and level correct images for print/web
• Resize and recreate web graphics for creative projects banner headers and advertisement displays
• Consistently enforce brand and style guidelines across all creatives
• Sort, organize & metadata tag files in Adobe Lightroom using appropriate file naming conventions and controlled vocabulary keyword catalog
• Crop images using existing PSD templates
• Straighten photos
• Clipping paths for product photos
• Create masks for color adjustments as needed
• Populate finished images from PSDs to multiple file formats
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• This position requires full-time hours in our office. Remote work is not an option.
• Must send a pdf of work samples and/or link to an online portfolio when applying
• 1-3+ years of experience
• Background knowledge in principles of design (i.e. layout, typography, color, balance, composition, and current design trends)
• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (CS5, CS6, or CC), proficient in Photoshop
• Basic design skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced work environment and under tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to take direction and execute accordingly
• Technical knowledge of color profiles, color conversions and screen calibration software

Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Must have an ever-evolving understanding of the latest editing techniques and visual trends, as well as the agility to incorporate them into existing formats and brand guidelines.

Must be knowledgable in: Adobe Lightroom & Adobe Photoshop. Proficiency in adobe illustrator is preferred but not required.

Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is necessary.

Must have working knowledge of basic administrative office computer programs, Windows PC workstations.

Work hours take place Monday through Friday. Day and Evening shifts are available

Pay Scale:

Up to $75-$100+ daily w same day pay – Based upon experience
