We are looking for a Junior Editor to support our in house production team. OPTIIONAL SKILL – Candidates fluent in Spanish, with strong Spanish-writing skills.

We are looking for someone who’s creative and editorial by nature, and enjoys collaborative work with others in a team. Communicating within a structured work environment, and working in a fast paced environment comes easily to you. You are also resourceful, responsive, and eager to get the job done – all with a smile on your face.

The task at hand:

· Editing video content for a variety of diverse projects

· Editing both original content as well as cutting existing material into new edits

· Ability to edit short/quick packages on site and convert them to multiple formats

· Managing the organization of the project and related media assets as well as backing up/archiving

The ideal candidate has:

· 1-3 years experience in video/film production as editor, and previous experience as an assistant editor

· Proficient in Adobe Premiere, FCP and other Creative Cloud programs (i.e. Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop)

· Ability to do basic sound design & audio mixing as well as able to handle basic color correction would be preferred

· Able to implement provided graphics and titles, and ideally the ability to create original graphics/animation would be preferred

· Adept at organizing projects, managing workload for multiple projects, and meeting deadlines

· Strong understanding of post-production workflow and the ability to provide recommendations to any process/workflow to increase efficiency

· Good knowledge of contemporary cameras, file formats, codecs, and their proper handling in a post workflow

· The ability to communicate needs in a positive and productive fashion
