Indie Producer/Director looking to hire DP/Gaffer, ideally w/ C300, C100, 5D Mark IV, 7D and any comparable camera that can hold up in low light as well as a small lighting kit. One interview scheduled.

Marketing video shoot around Harlem New York on 12/27, 12/28 or 12/29,12/30. The two shoot dates will be a combination of the aforementioned. Client is super friendly and has an amazing studio space. This will be great for any DP/Gaffer as a commercial /marketing piece.

$125 day rate. Paid Daily. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY. Please send reel if available and interested.

I am aware of the low rate, not every budget is the BIG ONE..Ideally, I am looking for someone who is seasoned and has some spare time and could use the spare change. Someone between projects. I don’t need it edited. However, I will need you to transfer the cards to my external hard drive after each shoot. If there are bigger budgets and we have a great working relationship, you get the call first of course.

The location has low ceilings with studio lighting on dimmers. The class esthetic calls for low lighting, however, we have some wiggle room. Lighting the class is minimal but I will rely on you that the shot has adequate and pleasing light. This is mostly HAND HELD. If you have a rig to keep the shot smooth, that’s a awesome, if not and you have the steadiest hand on the east coast, sounds good!

Please send any related work that showcases your amazing hand held work (please note whether if this was with an any rig or actual handheld and any work reels. Also indicate which role you played (DP or Gaffer or both). Work related pieces shot in low light indoors is preferred. Sport related or health and fitness videos are also sought with preference. If you are also a photographer, we love to see your portfolio too. Lastly, if you’ve shot interviews, we are interested in seeing those too!

Please provide your equipment list for both camera and lighting. Submit links and /or work reel links. Resumes should be in pdf format. One reference from a producer required.

If you don’t have a camera, but access to lenses and lights, yet can work a DLSR? I have Canon 60D with zoom lens, two wireless lavs and a soft box.
