Position: Associate Manager, Digital Content Operations (Night Shift)

This position is a late afternoon/evening “swing-shift” and requires schedule flexibility, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the FOX content calendar. Candidates must have proven experience working independently, problem solving with minimum support resources, and championing for quality of the experience on behalf of our customers.
Responsibilities
- Monitor health of live streaming ecosystem, troubleshoot problems in real-time, proactively maintain/manage operational components, and coordinate various teams across the signal flow.
- Successful nightly stream of FBC Primetime and other DCG streams
- Complete operational tasks from the dayside team (i.e. enter metadata, select images, set windowing rules, execute publishes, etc.), manage entire workflow for live episodes, and QA/troubleshoot any video issues that occur during shift.
- VOD episodes are available for customer playback on-time with no quality issues
- Develop and maintain relationship, training, and operational knowledge to quickly respond to issues, engage the right resources, and close problems.
- Problems are solved quickly, the right resources are engaged, and RCAs are distributed.
- Nightly QA for each full episode across platforms to ensure quality of overall experience
- Troubleshoot live ecosystem, VOD publishing workflow and overall asset quality issues with internal and vendor support teams
- Demonstrate exemplary judgment and creative thinking to help improve delivery accuracy while decreasing errors and audience impact
- Communicate delivery updates and schedule information internally to various groups, and externally to FOX distribution partners
Qualifications
- Experience working with online video.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, TV/Film, Business Management, or similar field or equivalent work experience
- Must have excellent troubleshooting, conceptual, communication and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of common technical issues found in digital video and audio and an understanding of meta-data, closed captions, video encodes, subtitles and their common failures or technical challenges
- Self-motivated, a natural problem-solver, and a good communicator with a demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, both independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple technology teams and third party vendors
- Must be able to provide full work availability for this position, which will include nights, weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years working in content operations, broadcast operations, asset fulfillment, post-production, digital supply chain and/or digital media experience
- Experience managing and programming digital content using standard content management systems and/or video encoding software.
- Experience operating digital live streaming ecosystems and/or on-air broadcast systems
- Experience distributing digital video and managing varied legal windows across multiple content providers
