An industry leading Post Production and VFX company is currently seeking a Senior Colorist.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The position entails color grading and color management for a wide range of DI and VFX projects. The colorist also works closely with the LAB tech managing color pipelines and dailies color for in-house VFX and digital dailies. In addition, the individual should be a highly motivated self-starter, with a desire to expand our client base and company as a whole.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Must be highly proficient in DaVinci Resolve and have a solid understanding of ACES and linear color workflows, LUT management, color space conversions, image processing and general data I/O procedures. Knowledge of other conform and color tools such as Scratch is a plus.

Should have experience in pulling NEG, conforming, file conversions, rendering, creating masters and deliverables. Knowledge of current hardware and software technologies is essential.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in post-production with at least 2 years as a colorist. Candidate should also have an existing client base and broad industry contacts.
