Assistant Video Editor
About the Job
Duties for our Assistant Video Editor may vary within the team.
Depending on the team’s needs, an Assistant Video Editor’s primary responsibility may include but are not limited to editing half-hour infomercial content and commercials.
In addition, the Video Editor’s role consists of assisting with material such as camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects to produce a final tv video product.
Required skills:
· Must be able to take direction and execute based on that direction
· A keen eye for detail
· Ability to solve problems and be resourceful and adaptable
· Ability to plan, schedule, and monitor progress across a large project
· Ability to organize and manage several large projects at once, in a fast-paced environment
· Communicate effectively to express ideas, address issues, and deliver progress updates
· Capability to work independently
· Ability to work with others, at all levels, as part of a team
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Required experience:
· Experience with TV Studio is a plus but not required
· Previous experience as a Video Editor is a plus but not required
