Established Emmy & Globe nominated Film/TV Producer with three go projects
for 2013 seeks a full-time production/development assistant. This is a
perfect position for aspiring producers who want to participate in the
production process from start to finish. Must be quick-thinking,
independent, and have some experience writing coverage, script development
and must be able to identify suitable submission material that compliments
the company mandate. Duties include (but not limited to) phone duties,
schedule management and facilitating communication with representatives.
Must be proficient in Final Draft and PC operating systems. General
knowledge of industry companies and known industry professionals, agents,
mangers etc., is a plus. Position can start immediately. Non-salary job with
pay being on a project to project basis. The right candidate will be
attached as an AP to a project that starts shooting this spring. Credits
will be granted on projects in which the candidate is involved on, with fees
set on a per project basis, based on budget and involvement. This position
is for the person with an entrepreneurial spirit that want first hand, on
the job training with a quality producer mentor. This provides an open door
for bringing in and developing one’s own projects as well.
