Interface with production and operations teams to implement technical solutions to meet production initiatives
Perform system level troubleshooting of technical facilities, including, but not limited to, master control, control rooms, studio equipment, audio equipment, and computer systems associated with those areas
Perform preventative maintenance on Master Control, core distribution, transmission studio & control room equipment
Perform equipment and systems software installation and updates.
3-5 years of experience in a television broadcast environment
Experience/knowledge in Master control and automation system support
Knowledge of computer server installation and maintenance.
Extensive Knowledge of Mac OSX, Linux, SQL, & Microsoft platforms.
Solid Understanding of TCP/IP networks and other PC networking technologies.
Experience with IP based digital delivery of media via UDP
Experience with Media Asset Management and archive systems
Solid understanding of media compression technologies.
Understanding of digital TV (HD/SDI) as well as core technical/plant facilities.
Proficient in software-driven broadcast video equipment.
Proven ability to read and understand system signal flow diagrams for television control room and studio facilities.
Position requires excellent interpersonal skills. Position requires a cool, level headed individual who works well under the pressures of -live- television
