Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a social media strategy and calendar to increase engagement and social chatter with current and prospective customers in collaboration with the E-Commerce manager and departmental goals.
  • Execute innovative social plans to promote the brand through website, stores, and wholesale business.
  • Develop content for Facebook, Instagram, Blog and other social platforms, using a variety of formats (short video, live streams, images, etc.) to engage users.
  • Work with E-Commerce and across the organization to ensure full social media integration.
  • Follow trends in social media to recommend new and emerging social platforms and similar media tools to maximize ROI and give great brand presence.
  • Track and report on the productivity of all social media projects. Analyze social media analytics reports on a regular basis to improve performance, engagement, and the user experience.
  • Develop and implement industry best practices, train coworkers on industry best practices.
  • Assist in the conception, planning, and implementation of online content for general marketing & public relations areas. Assist in the production of video and other online content.
  • Build influencer campaigns to gain exposure and audience through like-minded individuals and brands.

Skills

  • Knowledge of all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat). An ability to decide which platforms best target which audiences and which content is most effective in engaging users.
  • Strong understanding of the difference between organic and paid social activity, as well as how they work together.
  • Comfortable working with a variety of social media dashboards and monitoring tools.
  • Self-starter and creative, innovative thinker who can contribute out-of-the-box ideas and strategies.
  • Talent for delivering clean, concise, and engaging copy under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to spearhead a project and manage it through to completion.
  • Public Relations outreach and relationship building with media outlets and personnel.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, extremely organized.
  • Good analytic skills and proven experience applying insights to get results.
  • Demonstrate initiative and exercise professional judgment.
  • Ability to set up social media ads and manage campaigns desired.
  • Experience in short video production desirable.
  • Photography and styling experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite highly desirable
