I’m Greg Ackers. I’m an indie producer/director in LA.

Bo Dietl, a decorated NYPD vet & current private investigator who is running for Mayor of NYC. Election day is the 1st Tues of Nov.

On INDIEGOGO, I’m crowdfunding a documentary film about Bo,entitled: LAWMAN:ON THE BEAT WITH BO DIETL.

LAWMAN will be a retrospective of Bo’s career, both in law enforcement & onscreen, as well as behind the scenes of many major NYC events, through the many years Bo’s been a N.Y cop.

I’m not able to come to NY,in time to film this project. This is due to family/personal problems. I need a New York film maker, with his/her own equipment to follow Bo on the campaign trail, through to election day. On election day, I need the filmmaker to stick to Bo like glue, capturing his every word & emotion.

I’m attempting to raise $100,000 to shoot & complete this movie. I need a filmmaker who’s dedicated, energetic, intuitive & thinks keenly, with visual alacrity. At the end of your shoot, I’ll receive the footage & edit it into the many sequential stages of Bo’s life & career.
