Position: Engineer II

Th is person undertakes difficult programming problems, or supervises teams of other engineers. The incumbent would be expect ed to work independently for extended periods. Essential J ob Functions
Write code in C++, C# or Python Work with commercial game engines Solve engineering problem s that may require new or novel solutions. Read game design documents, and assist designer s in the scoping and refinement of design Schedule, e stimate, and plan tasks for self and others Fix bugs from the bug database Read and understand SDK documentation and technical papers Collaborate with artists, designers and producers as necessary Keep producers and supervising engineers apprised of progress and status Lead small teams of engineers Qualifications/Skills Sets
Knowledge of C++ and C# Knowledge of development tools such as IDEs, debuggers, profilers, and revision control systems Familiarity with all aspects of game development Solid 3D math skills Strong interest in the industry and a desire to make games Abil ity to manage a small game team Familiarity with common DCC tools used to create games (Max, Maya, Photoshop, etc.) Facility with either Unity or Unreal (preferably both) Demonstrated Ability To
Solve complex engineering problems Work independently for extended periods Lead and collaborate with others in a team environment Write and explain technical design documents Meet deadlines and ship products
Education & Experience Required
A BS in c omputer science or related field (mathematics, physics, engineering) and at least 3 years industry experience or, 6 years industry experience Should hav e worked on a commercial game t hroughout the entire product life cycle
