This is an unpaid internship working as an Event Production Intern with projects that include (i) a 30 minute non-fiction short film, (ii) organizing a regional film competition, (iii) graphic design, (iv) online marketing, (v) social media management, and (v) producing live monthly events for several DC based communities. If you want to learn about making movies, social media, graphic design and producing events, then this is your opportunity. We seek a gifted communicator, organizer and team player who can help with building community and managing events that serve a variety of members, including filmmakers, artists, and media professionals. Your responsibilities may include: organizing event schedules, research, writing, film production, managing attendees, managing communication, finding locations, finding speakers, reaching out to sponsors, graphic design, web admin, and social media.

You must be proficient in MS Word and Google Docs. Be physically located in the greater D.C. Metro Area and be available to work in Silver Spring / Bethesda. Be a creative person at heart. Skills Preferred: a Knowledge of Filmmaking, Web Design, and/or Adobe products (Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, etc) is a plus. [Technical training may be available for outstanding applicants.]
