IT Infrastructure/Pipeline Engineer

Madrone Studios is a creative agency specializing in creating immersive experiences through the marriage of light, visuals, sound and cutting-edge technology. We use new media, video production, immersive projection and interactive technologies to create memorable experiences.

We are looking for a IT Infrastructure/Pipeline engineer who will fit in with our company culture and fast growing pace working on creative projects. Must be self motivated, self starter, have great communications skills and have a positive attitude.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Experienced in managing and deploying Linux and Windows operating system images to staff machines and servers.
• Experienced in writing deployment scripts in either BASH or BATCH to automatically setup and install required packages/software for staff.
• Experienced in designing and building high end realtime rendering machines with top tier hardware including Nvidia Quadro and Geforce GPU’s, RAID SATA/PCIe SSDs, and maxing out capacity/clock rate of RAM.
• Experienced in designing and building custom NAS infrastructure or using existing technology such as Synology hardware to host Petabytes of projects and user data.
• Experienced in administering users accounts to control access and security via a domain controller such as Red Hat Directory Server/389 Directory Server.
• Experienced in Linux distros such as Fedora/Red Hat and Debian.
• Experienced in Linux initialization and virtualization such as Systemd and Docker.
• Experienced in networking and Router/Switch management such as setting up link aggregation.
• Additional experience in programming and git experience is optional but highly valued.
