JOB DESCRIPTION:
The IT/Video Engineer will implement new systems, as well as maintain and optimize existing systems. The ideal candidate is familiar with the specific needs of the post-production industry and has a passion for filmmaking and technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Pro-actively problem solving IT related issues.
Build, update, and maintain hardware.
Deploy software builds to creative workstations.
Manage Users.
Automate workflows.
Administering OSX/Linux/Windows systems.
Maintain and Upgrade IT infrastructure and storage solutions.
Calibrate Displays.
Maintaining licenses/servers for different needs.
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
A strong understanding of camera formats, workflows, frame rates, and codecs.
Familiarity with post-production software/technologies a plus.
Avid Symphony, Adobe Suite (PR, AE, PS, AI), FCP7/X, Mocha, Nuke, DaVinci Resolve, Autodesk Flame, Maya, Cinema4D, ProTools, BRU Server/PE, Facilis, Lightspace, GenArts Sapphire, Filemaker Server.
Python/Coding ability a huge plus.
PostgreSQL, MySQL
Excellent communication skills.
