Jr. Video Editor

Ripen is seeking a Junior Video Editor/Motion Graphics Designer to help our Studio Photographer in day-to-day creation of short form videos for various clients for use their respective e-commerce sites. Candidate must be comfortable creating a wide variety of video content including short form social media posts, and quick product videos for e-commerce detail pages. Must possess expert knowledge of video codecs, formats, and exporting procedures.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Assist senior video editor with day-to-day content creation such as apparel videos to be used to promote apparel and showcase features and fitting
• Design text overlays
• Acquire and organize assets for video creation Qualifications
• Working knowledge of linear editing software (Adobe Premier, Final cut x)
• Proficiency in Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
• Knowledge of video formats/codecs
• Knowledge of best practices for posting to various social media platforms
• Highly creative and collaborative with excellent communication skills.
