The Company is global in scope, with over 800 senior engineers, 20 R&D centers, manufacturing facilities, and sales offices worldwide.
They are seeking to increase their mechanical engineering and tooling expertise to interface with key customers in North America. In Silicon Valley, the initial focus would be to support the design efforts for new products within key customers.
MECHANICAL/MANUFACTURING TOOLING APPLICATIONS ENGINEER
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of design and tooling for various high volume manufacturing processes with an emphasis on injection molding and stamping.
- Direct experience and understanding of the entire mechanical design and development process from concept, development, approval, pre-production and high volume production.
- Experience with ProE, Solidworks and/or AutoCAD.
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to capably represent AAC when interfacing with customer mechanical manufacturing experts.
- Interest in moving towards (or experience in) an applications engineering/customer interaction/sales role.
- Ability to learn to operate effectively and build relationships in a new culture.
- Experience working with Chinese companies.
- Mandarin language skills is a plus.
