Position: – Media Events Technician

Job Description:

The Media Events Technician will help support North American offices in the Event Support domain. This person will be responsible for daily operations, support, maintenance and successful delivery of high profile events. The ideal candidate will be able to think outside the box and be enthusiastic towards innovative iterations to our workflows.

Specific Duties:

• Provide technical support for meetings, conferences, classes and corporate-wide broadcasts.
• Provide user assistance and training with operation of multimedia systems.
• Interact with staff, faculty and guests.
• Perform analysis, diagnosis and resolution of complex Audio Visual hardware problems and implement corrective solutions
• Conduct regular inspections of Production Facilities
• Maintain documentation of Audio Visual (AV)/Video Conference (VC) maintenance, failures, removal and installation
• Flexible schedule a must

Skills

• Extensive knowledge in HD video, video switching, cameras, media content management, signal processing, system design. Talent coaching, crew management, corporate event support. Video conferencing experience a must.

Experience

• 3+ years in A/V, VC, video production, webcasting, streaming, staging events or related experience.
