The number of permanent and event-based live streaming broadcasts to mobile devices is rapidly increasing. LogServer provides seamless integration with OTT streaming sources to offer broadcasters a solution to maintain a handle on these internet based streams via built-in real-time analysis and confidence monitoring. With support for live streaming sources and included profiles, both outgoing encoder and on-air CDN feeds can be monitored and analyzed in real-time using the comprehensive tools provided by TSAnalyzer and Monwall. Live streams may also be recorded for long term archiving or compliance reviews using the familiar LogPlayer multi-player user interface.
Mediaproxy’s suite of products includes Monwall IP multiviewer and TSAnalyzer. Both client applications allow for seamless connection to any LogServer ASI or IP via a low bandwidth connection to offer decentralized access to TS monitoring that would usually require access to the high bit rate multicast source directly. Once connected, extensive options around Closed Captions, SCTE-104/35 and TS events are made available via the leading edge client applications.
Updates being introduced at BCA 2016 include:
* Advanced real-time monitoring of DVB Subtitles
* New advanced data monitoring panels in the Monwall IP multiviewer to facilitate real-time analysis and monitoring. Mediaproxy is the first company to offer a comprehensive software-based high-grade IP multiviewer that now features data monitoring options, including TS sections, ETR290 ASI priority events, advanced caption and subtitle monitoring as well as dedicated Loudness panels.
* Advanced OTT monitoring at scale for HLS, SmoothStreaming and Dash sources/profiles. This enables tens and hundreds of streams to be monitored concurrently on both outgoing streams and return CDN. These are also fully integrated in the Monwall IP multiviewer.
* Support for 4K/HEVC sources, which future proofs their investment by broadcasters
* Brand new native mobile app for real-time broadcast stream monitoring supported on iOS/Windows Mobile and Android devices.
