Motion Graphics Designer

General Job Description:

Weigel Broadcasting’s South Bend ABC Affiliate, WBND, has an opening for a Motion Graphics Designer to join our operation. The successful candidate must have proven experience in graphic design in a fast-paced news organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Create, organize and maintain the graphics needs for ABC57 news operation.
Works independently with rapidly changing deadlines and situation.
Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree, technical degree or equivalent at least 1 year of experience in the field of video production or related area.
Must be able to work independently as well as under immediate supervision, tight deadlines and rapidly changing work environment.
Training in layout and aesthetic design concepts and principles.
Experience with Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere.
