About the Job

We are looking for an experienced News Operations Manager to help lead our team in both day-to-day operations and large-scale productions.

Primary Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily video and audio quality of all news production work that appears on air for both tv stations
Supervise logistics set-up for special event coverage such as elections, conventions, sports events, etc. Ensure all special events are well-planned. Communicates with corporate partners, vendors and staff members about roles and responsibilities.
Supervise Media Managers to ensure the proper workflow for all the video needed for the news programs over the course of the day as well as manage the video archive system
Work closely with News Management team to ensure compatibility of coverage and logistics.
Develop strategies for improvement of existing systems and the implementation of future technologies
Must be available via phone to answer questions during off hours and be available for weekend or night work in cases of emergencies or project deadlines
