Production Coordinator

Reporting to the Sr. Production Manager, the Production Coordinator (PC) will support studio productions, ensuring day-to-day production operations run smoothly. The Production Coordinator will ensure information resources are maintained, staffing needs are met, wrap materials are reviewed and stored. They will assist in budgeting and payroll.

The Production Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining our Production Resource Folder and Production Manual. This will involve collaborating with teams throughout the company to formalize and document processes, ensure we have the latest policy and legal updates, and communicating this to the team by curating and creating documents within the folder.

The Production Coordinator will work with our production team to facilitate the staffing of freelance production coordinators and producers. They will facilitate interviews and maintain a “rolodex” of candidates for both roles. They will work with Contingent Workforce Management to onboard freelancers, ensuring the furnishing of Disney accounts. The coordinator will facilitate training for these freelancers by appropriate departments.

The Production Coordinator will be responsible for obtaining and inputting data for the department’s weekly and monthly reports. This includes tracking budget amounts, total run time for delivered videos, and freelance production workers’ start and end dates.

The Production Coordinator will assist with concept bids, budgets, and flagging anything that may affect production alongside the Production Manager team.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

Crewing Productions: 30%

Maintaining production manual resource folder: 30%

Bidding and organizing accounting information: 30%

Assisting production with day-to-day production (scheduling, call sheets, etc.): 10%

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

Currently enrolled as a junior or higher, or must have graduated within the past 6 months from an accredited college/university, earning a degree in Mass Media, Film, or Marketing
