Position: Production Technology Intern, Studio – Summer 2017

Designing, developing and supporting web based applications and tools. Working with Senior Engineers and Architects to enhance functionality of software development projects. Acquiring and sharing knowledge of tools and framework capabilities and traditional design & engineering disciplines. Expanding knowledge of languages, tools, devices, applications, and the environments.

Researching new technologies that may be relevant to the Studio using either company provided information or on-line sources, and preparing summaries of those technologies. Experience with Java Understanding of multi-tier web architectures, OO design patterns and concepts. Excellent teamwork skills and ability to assist other team members in problem-solving Superior creative and innovative problem-solving skills with passion for new technologies Organized and “future thinker” who is excited about technology Detail oriented and willing to perform a lot of detailed work Experience with Unix shell scripting, Virtual Machines, and/or server provisioning Experience with video or image transcoding technologies At least 18 years of age Unrestricted work authorization Available full time for 12 weeks from May/June through August/September Ability to provide own relocation, housing and transportation. Position is located in Burbank, CA and may include work in Glendale, CA.

Enrolled in a Undergraduate program at a college/university taking at least one class in the semester prior to participation in the internship program or recently graduated within the last six months Working toward or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Film, Digital Media, Engineering or related Make an impact by….
