Swordfish Productions has been telling Story and documenting women’s and queer culture for over 46 years locally nationally and globally helping to give a compassionate and realistic face and a voice to those who have been injured, under-recognized and therefore underserved.

Our first feature film titled SPECIAL is a timely, unprecedented and inclusive feature film project about Rape that can help change people’s lives and the world in the fight against sexual abuse which is now pandemic.

Many of us including myself are survivors.

The film is a character driven narrative, no sexual violence or rape scenes, no physical violence, no car chases, no explosions or weapons.

SPECIAL is a story about real people healing from the lifelong ramifications caused by their their past thru finding their voices and speaking the truth. SPECIAL is not a (man-hating) film.

Many of us have been working day and night for 18 years to get the $ to get SPECIAL with all its possibilities to the Big Screen.

We are not giving up!
