Sr. Production Engineer

Duties:

• Perform installation, maintenance, administration, and repair of sophisticated teleproduction and related equipment and systems to the component level
• Plan and manage engineering projects, effectively utilizing all resources to meet goals.
• Participate in projects as required, such as purchase, design, installation, documentation, and upgrades in a lead role.
• Provide hands-on technical support for, post-production and advanced computer graphics activities.
• Maintain and develop accurate and timely documentation of equipment maintenance, systems, inventory and project details.
• Performs root-cause analysis on problems and participates in the discussion for post problem reviews.
• Actively engage in research and development for facility evolution, project planning, equipment evaluation, upgrades and maintenance, technology exploration and event engineering

Qualifications: – 2 or 4 year technical degree

• Proven ability to support OSX and Windows environments, including software deployment tools (JAMF, Altiris)
• 4+ years’ experience in post-production or related field.
• Knowledge of installing and supporting complex video editing suites (Premier)
• Knowledge of graphics creation tools including Adobe Creative Cloud and Viz
• Knowledge of SAN and networking technologies (or equivalent education/experience/training).
• Advanced study or degree in related field is desirable
• Must have experience in analyzing and solving complex technical problems under pressure
• Must have excellent customer services skills and be a self-starter
• Must have the ability to work in a team based environment
• Must possess strong communication (written and verbal) and organization skills
• Must be able to prioritize and multi-task in a high-stress environment.
