About the Job

We are looking for a Supervising Producer with a love of pop culture to develop and deliver stand out creative content and ideas in a breaking news setting. Must be comfortable developing ideas that work across all media; on air, digital, and social media. Reporting into the Sr Executive Producer and Executive Producer, as well as working closely with our Producers and Production teams, this role will be responsible for the execution of editorial content thru strategic planning, hands on management, and engagement of staff to create something truly unique and extraordinary. This is a leadership position and that’s what we’re looking for; someone who can lead!

From awards shows to day in and day out production, this person will be able to work collaboratively to ensure a high level of efficiency and effectiveness between departments. The position will directly oversee producing teams including scheduling and assignments, ensure that journalistic and corporate standards are communicated and followed thru on, and provide oversight to ensure that team members are actively contributing to the shows’ creative and the teams’ shared success. The Supervising Producer will work closely with the EP to ensure that day to day operations are efficient and that issues are communicated in a timely manner.

Must have 8+ years of experience in a similar role within a television broadcast, news station, network or creative agency environment. A passion for television in general and entertainment news in particular desired.
