We are seeking a detail-oriented, production-gear junkie to fulfil the position of Technical Coordinator. The main focus of this role will be to manage all logistical aspects of equipment and collaborate with production teams and DPs on their equipment use and needs. This involves maintaining the in-house camera equipment and gear, as well as procuring rentals arranged by the Production Team. This is the ideal position for a production wizard who detests being chained to a desk, yet yearns for the stability and environment that comes with a staff role. The day-to-day duties of the role vary, but range from spending time on set supporting crew to organizing and arranging our in-house studio.

Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborating with DPs and Gaffers to review gear lists, and substitute Mustache gear for rentals whenever possible
• Prepping gear and neatly organizing kits for shoots (camera, G/E, props);
• Location scouting with Producer and or/ Director/DP;
• Thorough checkouts of gear from rental houses;
• Loading gear in and out of shoot locations;
• Bring gear to and from set;
• Opportunity to work various roles on set;
• Maintaining in house studio and gear inventory;
• Drive / Maintain Mustache van;
• Minor office duties supporting Office Manager with physical heavy lifting & minor office planning projects

Skill and Other Requirements:
• Experience with current professional production equipment;
• 2+ years experience as on-set PA;
• Grip and AC experience a plus;
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record per insurance requirements;
• Ability to lift 50 lbs;
• Strong communication skills and highly organized;
• Ability to travel is a plus
